Zorita was the wife and stage partner of Harry King in their two-person mentalism act, "Harry King and Zorita". Sometimes she was billed as "Zerita".
The act was played as a straight and serious exhibition of mindreading. They played nightclubs in the Midwest U.S. in the late 1940's.
According to a photo in the March 6, 1943 edition of Billboard, Mrs. King served in the WAAC forces during WWII.
By the way, this Zorita was not the infamous burlesque dancer "Zorita" who was also performing in the 1930's and 1940's.
