Simply place the chalk shaped rod (supplied) into the case.The chalk rod can be seen through a cutout window in the front of the case. When the middle section of the case is pushed to the side, the middle of the chalk goes with it!The chalk can clearly be seen to be split into THREE separate pieces!Yet when you push the middle of the case back, the chalk is restored! AND you can pull it out of the case in one piece!
