Vintage Vanishing Lit Cigarette In Tube *PREOWNED*

EXTREMELY RARE! Vintage 1920s!
We can't find another one available- and we have only seen one other one in another magic collection.
From the estate collection of a professional magician who collected rare vintage magic.

This metal cigarette allowed the performer to vanish a LIT cigarette in the brass tube.
The cigarette would be puffed on to produce smoke, then put into the brass tube.
The tube would be briefly capped, then the cap removed.
And the tube was EMPTY- the LIT cigartette was gone!

The secret?
What appears to be a lit cigarette is, in fact, a METAL TUBE with some tobacco in it.
The tobacco could be lit prior to the performance, so the cigarette could be convincingly puffed.
Then the "cigarette" would be placed into the brass tube, and the tobacco would stop burning because it had no air.
So it was a relatively safe effect to perform.
We say "relatively" safe- but who knows?? Those 1920s magicians were a crazy bunch!

This rare Vanishing Cigarette comes complete with the original removal tool to get the metal cigarette back out of the tube after the trick.

There are no instructions, but it is very easy to fgure out.
However, this is is really more of a collector's item than a working prop.
