Many magicians have a collection of vintage magic effects that remind them of their early days in magic.
This is a terrific example of such a collectible!
Made by E-Z Magic back in the 1960s, this one is the desireable BLUE plastic box version with the METAL coin slide.
The original box is in very good condition- and looks so retro!

Borrow an ordinary quarter from a spectator.
For best effect, the coin can be marked with a Sharpie marker so that the coin can be positively identified as the same borrowed quarter at the end of the trick.
Put the quarter in your pocket, and instantly take a small box out of the same pocket.
The spectator is asked to open the box.
Is the borrowed quarter inside the box? No!
Inside the box is another smaller box.
Inside that box is another box.
And inside that box is another box!
When the spectator opens the smallest box- THERE is the marked quarter!
The spectator is speechless!

Company History: D. Robbins was established in 1916 by David Robbins, an amateur magician, who retired in 1960.
Paul Fried purchased the company and was its President and CEO from 1960 until his death in 2016.
Paul's daughters Barbara and Elise are now running the company.
Robbins was originally located in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City, then relocated to Brooklyn, New York in 1978 and to Cranbury, New Jersey in 2004.
