A BLAST FROM THE PAST!From the estate collection of a professional stage magician.
This vintage 1960s Skeleton Coffin Coin Bank was a huge hit back in the day! Simply wind it up, place a coin on the white circle in front of the coffin, and watch the skeleton reach out and grab it, pulling it into the coffin! In the demo, Peter used his finger to trip the mechanism- YOU JUST PUT A COIN ON THE CIRCLE and it works. Don't worry- there is a door on the bottom of the bank to retrieve your coin.Or, you could just save all of the coins from your friends who are going to want to try this out! :-)
This version was made in Hong Kong, of fairly high quality materials for a novelty bank. The wind-up mechanism is still nice and tight, and the bank works perfectly!
In researching this bank, we came across the manufacturer's recommendation for use: "To avoid overwinding, be sure to press button for repeat action until the mechanism is fully wound down. Always wind the key in the direction of the arrow, otherwise the mechanism will break." The bank will be shipped to you UNWOUND.
By the way, the soft spooky music you hear in the video was NOT playing when Peter filmed the demo! We have NO IDEA where that music came from! Spooky, right??
