COMPACT AND LOUD!From the collection of a retired stage magician.
A gem from the 1950s!
Hilarious comedy routine for your show!Very convincing antique look to this one!
The Caltter Box is an oldie but goodie, seldom seen by today's audiences, but guaranteed to get a big reaction! You VERY GENTLY hand this little box to your spectator, going on and on about how old and valuable and FRAGILE it is, how he needs to be very careful while handling it, etc., etc. You ask him to carefully open it because there is a surprise inside. Well, the moment he takes off the cover, the whole thing falls completely and quickly apart, no double with pieces LOUDLY crashing onto the floor! The shock value is priceless!
This nice vintage model is made of metal and wood, to maximize the amount of noise it makes. The small size is an advantage, as there is less chance the box will open unless the cover is removed. Plus, the old vintage paint makes it truly look like an antique. Of course, there are chips and dings because the box has been used in shows, but that just adds to the charm!
Box is about 4" on each side.
CONDITION: good to very good. This has paint chips and dings from actual stage use - SEE PHOTOS.Box parts are metal and wood. When assembled, box is about 4" on each side..
