VERY RARE close up trick!A novelty trick circa 1950!From the estate collection of a retired professional magician.Only two available- grab this while you can!
Back in the 1950s, suggestive humor was quite popular and acceptable for adult audiences.Gently risque pranks and jokes were quite common. And this routine falls into that category!
The magician shows a picture of a lady holding an open parasol in front of her body. In the background you can see the ocean. He waves over the picture with his hand- and the parasol vanishes. The lady is seen to be wearing a short dress.Again the magician moves his hand over the picture. Now the lady is wearing a bikini. The magician waves over the card one last time ...And what happens now?!Who KNOWS what the audience is expecting to see...But the picture turns into a long strip of cardboard labeled “Applause”!
It is a corny trick from a long-past era.A collector's item, for sure!
CONDITION: very good- gently used. The envelope that the trick was sold in has been ripped open. SEE PHOTO
