IN HOUDINI'S DESK
In 1986, Peter Monticup purchased Houdini's ornate personal desk. Hidden inside was a collection of envelopes from correspondence Houdini had received from fans, fellow magicians, business associates and other people in his life.
Houdini had carefully saved them, and some even display handwritten notes believed to have been made by Houdini himself.
