TRIPLE ALLIANCEIn the early years of the 20th Century, three superstars of magic teamed up and presented a full evening show starring all three of them. Belgian-born magician Servais LeRoy, German-born illusionist Imro Fox and American magician Frederick Eugene Powell pooled their talents and resources as "The Triple Alliance". Their colorful and detailed posters are legendary. After Frederick Eugene Powell broke away to again star in his own show, Servais LeRoy and Imro Fox continued the idea of a combined show, by replacing Powell with LeRoy's wife Talma, and Fox playing a comedic character he named Bosco. The LeRoy-Talma-Bosco team was even more successful, with amazing posters of their own.
