Wonderful "Simon Says" magic effect- with a surprise!

Ask your spectator to do exactly as you do- but the outcome is always different- they JUST CAN'T follow you!

Two bottles and two metal tubes are used. A spectator uses one set and you use the other. Each of you places a tube over a bottle. The bottles both start out right side up. They are turned upsidee down and right side up again, back and forth, with the spectator following your every move exactly. HOWEVER, when the covers are raised, your bottle is always UPRIGHT. The spectator's is always UPSIDE DOWN!! Repeat the process as often as you want! As the grand finale, your bottle turns upside down while still in its cover! Great comedy potential, and your audience will roar with laughter as your confused spectator tries so hard to follow you.

This version of Tricky Bottles is made with safe PLASTIC bottles! Don't worry if your spectator has "butter fingers"- these won't break if accidentally dropped. Perfect for kids shows- no glass to worry about! And the plastic bottles are much lighter weight than glass ones, so they are easier to transport to your shows.

Supplied complete with plastic bottles, tube covers and full routine. Bottles are 12-ounce soda size.

A smaller version of this trick that is especially great for closeup performance is the Trick Bottles.

tricky bottles
Very good way to get audience participation. The bottles are easy to handle even for kids. It works best with adults because everyone including kids likes to see the adults make a mistake. I get a very good reaction every time I use these.

Fun for Kids and Adults
I like to do this routine by starting with an adult and of course it looks like he can't follow instructions. And then I will use a child volunteer and behold the kids gets it right every time. After the kid succeeds I give the adult a chance to redeem themselves and they still can't get it right. At that point I make the bottle change in my hand at will. Always gets a laugh.
