It is slightly wider than a Vernet Junior thumb tip. It is slightly more flexible than a Vernet Junior thumb tip, but not as flexible as a SOFT thumb tip.It fits a smaller thumb, like an older child or a female thumb.The opening of the Wizard thumbtip is also more oval than round, so it may fit your finger better if you have problems with a junior tip being too small for you.

The Thumb Tip is supposed to rest ON TOP of your knuckle, not cover it.That way, there is some room inside the thumb tip for whatever you want to load into it.If you push the Thumb Tip over your knuckle, your own thumb will take up all the room inside the tip, which is not what you want!
