Show your spectator an easel-type display board with a long yellow card turned so the contents is hidden from the spectator.
Under the yellow card are numbers from 1 to 8.
Let him know that above each number is a different symbol.
Show him a white card and let him know that on the other side of that card, you have predicted which symbol he will choose.
Your spectator calls out one of the numbers.
You turn the yellow card over, and both of you can see which symbol is above the number chosen.
You turn over the white prediction card-
And on the card is the EXACT symbol chosen!

It does not matter which of the eight number is chosen!
It works with ANY number, and the number is truly freely chosen!
