Surprising Dots Pro

I have added this effect and routine to my regular bag of tricks. I like the quality of this effect with its all-metal construction (except for the felt dots, of course), thus, it's quite durable and should last a long time, with care. My main attraction to this effect is twofold -- first and foremost, I weigh the success of my magic on the amazement it brings my audience -- and this effect does well. Secondly, this trick breaks the routine of cards, silks, sponge- balls, rope, and other standard magic routines in performances. This trick does take some practice in front of a mirror to perfect, but after a little practice, you should be pleased with the results this effect can deliver. You may be so pleased, that dots might appear before your very eyes!

I first saw this trick as a teenager, at a big boyscout gathering. The magician was an older man, who was like a doctor or a lawyer or something and magician in his spare time. His act was okay, but when he pulled out the spot card I groaned silently. Not this! Every child knows this! Still I was politely silent. The younger scouts were awful, screaming MOVE YOUR HAND! and such. I felt sorry for the guy. Then he said he'd teach us the trick, still heckles from the crowd. Then he moved his hand, and a spot was there! More spots! MORE! It silenced the crowd. I knew then I needed to get this trick. I love it! It was even better than I expected, and is made of metal, both for the sake of the gimmick and to last a long time. Easy to do, gets a great reaction from kids and adults alike.

Packs small, plays big. Audience will really be scratching their heads trying to figure it out. Clever trick.

This routine is very fun and the audience loves it. I love to let them in on the secret only to leave them completely baffled at the end. This one will be nearly impossible for anyone to figure out.
