While your spectator makes a grid of cards, you write down a number prediction and fold the paper to hide the number for now.
The grid is made up of 5 rows of 5 cards.
Each row is laid out in a "straight", a poker hand where the cards progress in order (like a 4-5-6-7-8).
In a "straight" the suits don't matter, just the values of the cards.
The spectator can freely choose the straights that he builds.
Once the grid is built, you are ready to begin the magic!

The spectator will randomly choose five of the 25 cards from the grid.
When those cards are chosen, you will add together the values on the five cards.
The total of the values will equal the number that you predicted at the start of the trick.

To choose the cards, your spectator will place a coin on one of the cards.
All of the other cards in that column and in that row will be scooped up and removed from the grid.
The spectator will place a total of five coins on the grid, and at the end, only the cards with coins on them will remian.
