We may not be able to match the date on the quarter, but it is doubtful that your spectator will even notice.

It is not recommended to let your spectator handle the stretched quarter.
Your spectator will probably be tempted to bend the quarter to test its strength, and they will snap the quarter in half.
Who knows why the spectator wants to do this, but trust us, that is what will happen.
Instead, you can place the stretched quarter on the table to let them have a look, then pick it up and put it away.
Better still, switch it again for the ordinary quarter, and then go into another coin routine using that quarter.
