Authentic vintage order confirmation postcards from Sherms Magic Inc.

Bob Sherman, the last manager of Houdini's Martinka Magic Shop in NYC beore it closed, opened his own shop and manufacturing facility in Bridgeport, Connecticut in the late 1920s.
A prolific magic inventer, "Sherm" developed the modern version of Chinese Sticks, among other innovations.
He was also the first to really capitalize on magic as a promotional tool.
His Sherms Coins are very collectible.
He also developed the magic set used in the Eddie Cantor Magic Club promotion, and the Howard Thruston's Swift Premium tricks.

Postcards like this were sent to customers who ordered magic from Sherms.
