This colorful comedy trick has a startling surprise climax - a great "sucker effect" in which the audience screams that they know "where the rabbit went" just to discover the rabbit reappears in a most surprising place!
Your Run Rabbit Run prop is made of two Rabbit Houses connected by a brick wall. Each house has a front and back door.
Place a cut-out of a small rabbit in House #1. The audience can see him run to the other house, but you pretend not to see. You open the door of House #1, and of course, the rabbit is gone. Your audience will be eager to tell you that they saw the rabbit run to House #2. While you are listening to them, the audience can see the rabbit run across to House #1 again. You finally open the door to House #2, but of course, the rabbit is already gone.
You can continue this "back and forth" routine until the audience is worked into a frenzy, shouting and yelling as they see the rabbit run between the houses. Just when they are convinced they know exactly what is happening, you open BOTH doors- the rabbit is really GONE! And when you turn around, the rabbit is ON YOUR BACK!
