This Professor Alba was a magician, hypnotist and psychic entertainer, but was actually the second "Professor Alba", and the son of Manolo Alba.

When his father died in 1950, the younger Alba took over the successful show, and toured with it until his own death seventeen years later.

He took the show one step further, featuring a female mentalist named "Yu-Li-San, the Enigmatic Medium".

His colorful posters are highly collectible, and show him in a friendly pose next to a skeleton. The poster says, "Il Hombre Que Juega Con La Muerte", meaning "The Man Who Plays With Death".
