This is an effect invented by legendary kids show performer Ian Adair in England a number of years ago.
A master children's entertainer, he really knows how to get the kids going!

You show your audience three cards.
The faces show three different color drinks in elegant glasses.
They represent glasses of "pop" – also known as soda or soft drinks.
There’s a cola pop, a cherry pop, and a lemon pop.

Now here's where you can get creative with this clever effect!
The lemon pop card is reversed as you get the kids to imagine they are drinking the delicious pop!
On the count of three, they all have to sip on their imaginary straws!
You accuse someone of BLOWING instead of sipping and pretend to get some pop in your eye, etc.
But when the lemon pop card is turned around, the kids see that the lemon pop has vanished from the glass which is now EMPTY!

“Let’s try with the cherry pop”, you tell your eager audience.
The kids sip …. but the drink is still there.
The kids try again.
This time, they see that the drink really HAS gone!

Now only one card remains.
This time the kids sip and then blow the pop back again.
And the pop really has gone- to be replaced by a picture of YOUR POP – a funny looking guy with a red tie and nose to match wearing a tall top hat!

Silly, funny, delightful magic routine that gets everyone involved!
