Performing as Master of Ceremonies means having a number of quick routines that will keep the audience enthusiastic and entertained between all the acts.
Quick and visual tricks like the Chameleon Silks are perfect, especially when you add a kicker like I did with the streamer at the end.
Being an MC requires a lot of concentration on your part, as you have to remain focused and smooth, even though your performance is constantly interrupted by all the other action that is going on around you.
A magician needs to be the master of misdirection- and direction.
Remember- if you are comfortable, your audience will be comfortable.
If you are keeping your focus on your routine and on engaging your audience, they will stay with you and they won't pay attention to anything else.
