DESCRIPTION FROM PUBLISHER: Jimmy Stewart stars in this light-hearted comedy from the Big Band era (1941) as James Hamilton Haskell, the son of wealthy tycoon C.J. Haskell. When James falls for the lovely Molly McCorkle (Paulette Goddard), the pair attempts to persuade C.J. to sponsor their friend's (real-life bandleader Horace Heidt) radio program. But C.J. refuses to lend a hand, and the couple is forced to look for help elsewhere. Luckily Molly's mother devises a foolproof plan to support the show. The trio announces that they will dial numbers at random and give away big prizes to those tuned into the show. Like it did for the real-life POT O'GOLD radio show, the plan works beautifully!
