The classic McCombical Deck routine- taken to the next level!
This is a trick involving an unsuspecting spectator, and an audience of onlookers. You'll need both the spectator and a number of onlookers. So if you have an audience of several other people (or several hundred!), this is a terrific effect that gets a big response!
You start by making a prediction of the card you think your spectator will choose. You remove the prediction card from the wallet, show it to the audience, and place the card back into the wallet.
Next, you let the spectator make a selection from the card deck. You mention that you hope it will match your prediction. You pick up the deck and show the audience the faces of the cards. The audience can see the cards (your spectator cannot see them)- and they see that ALL THE CARDS IN THE DECK ARE THE SAME! You've apparently rigged the trick- and apparently your spectator has no choice!
Fully confident that you have made a match, you turn over the spectator's card.But wait! It's NOT one of those identical cards from the deck! It's a different card! How did THAT happen?? And now it apparently won't match your prediction! You are a magician in trouble!
But you ARE a magician, right? You remove your prediction card from the wallet again- and it MATCHES that card selected by the spectator after all!
Not only is this a hilarious routine, it's quite astounding magic as well. You'll get a lot of mileage out of this one!
Best of all- IT'S EASY! Yes, if you can spread out a deck of cards, you can do the trick! The deck and wallet do all the work, and you get all the applause!
The cards you get may be different than those shown in the demo video.It doesn't matter- your trick will work the same way.
Expect to see a broken paper seal on the box.Breaking the seal is necessary in order to make the trick deck.Regular ungimmicked Bicycle card decks are made (and sealed) by the U.S. Playing Card Co.Gimmicked card decks, on the other hand, are produced by a number of independent magic trick manufacturers, using those regular Bicycle card decks.To make trick decks, these manufacturers start with the regular Bicycle decks as sold by the U.S. Playing Card Co.U.S. Playing Card Co. places a paper seal over the box flap on each deck.The magic trick manufacturers have to break those seals in order to gimmick the decks inside the boxes.So when you receive a trick deck, expect to see the seal broken.(The only exception is the SEALED Stripper Deck, because that deck is made by the U.S. Playing Card Co.)The cards inside the box are brand new, but they are now GIMMICKED.
