So easy- if you can thread the string through the die, you can do the trick!
First, you thread the string through the frame. It can be clearly seen that the string does indeed go in one hole, through the frame, and out the other hole.Remove the string from the frame.Next, pick up the white die, which has a hole drilled right through it.Place the die inside the frame, with the holes in the die matched up to the holes in the frame. Then, thread the string through one side of the frame, through the die and then out the other side of the frame.Show the spectator that the die is inside the frame, and cannot be turned or twisted.Let the spectator hold both ends of the string. Now there is no way to remove the die, right?Well- here comes the magic!Briefly cover the frame and die with a cloth (you supply any opaque cloth).THE DIE FALLS TO THE TABLE!Even though your spectator is still holding both ends of the string!Remove the cloth, and everyone can see that the string is still running through the frame-BUT THE DIE IS GONE! Yes, it DID fall to the table!
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD. Do not put the die, frame or string in your mouth. Not suitable for children under 5 years of age.
And that's all you need!
