This is an ORIGINAL MORRISSEY LOTA BOWL, circa late 1990s.

From the estate of a retired professional magician.

In 1959, Herb Morrissey started his magic manufacturing company in a small basement just outside of Montreal, Canada.
He specialized in spun aluminum and copper products, specifically Cups & Balls sets, Zombie Floating Balls, Lota Bowls and Dove Pans.
His attention to quality quickly made Morrissey items a favorite of professional magicians.
Though the company closed down in 2013, Morrissey magic items continue to be highly sought after within the magic community.

This LOTA BOWL has a really nice patina!
The bowl saw some use by the previous owner.
It shows surface scratches and wear.
He had an "OOPS" moment and dropped the bowl, causing some dents in the side toward the bottom.

Otherwise, this bowl works perfectly, and is the easy-to-handle and nicely balanced bowl that Morrissey was famous for.
