In 1959, Herb Morrissey started his magic manufacturing company in a small basement just outside of Montreal, Canada.
He specialized in spun aluminum and copper products, specifically Cups & Balls sets, Zombie Floating Balls, Lota Bowls and Dove Pans.
His attention to quality quickly made Morrissey items a favorite of professional magicians.
Though the company closed down in 2013, Morrissey magic items continue to be highly sought after within the magic community.

This DOVE PAN has a really nice patina!
The pan saw some stage use by the previous owner.
It shows surface scratches and wear.
The pan has a small dent in the lid- SEE PHOTOS.

This pan works perfectly, and is the easy-to-handle and nicely balanced pan that Morrissey was famous for.

Originally designed to produce a live dove, today's magicians more often use the pan to produce loads of silks, flowers, sponges or little prizes for their audiences.

Just one of the possible effects:
The magician shows the pan empty and then breaks an egg into the pan, adds salt, pepper and water.
The cover is placed in position on top of the pan, and when it’s removed the pan contains either popcorn, candy, a rubber chicken or a cake which entirely fills the pan.
