Mike Zens was a magician and author. In 1915, he co-founded the Houdini Club of Wisconsin, along with with John Snyder Jr. and Frank Carter.

Zens' "real life" occupation was as Assistant Postmaster for Kenosha, Wisconsin from 1908 until he retired in 1940.

Zens contributed effects to a number of magic books and magazines. He created the Zens' Cards and Envelopes in 1907, Zens' Card Miracle in 1908, Zens' Cards and Envelopes in 1907, and wrote The Cardology of Tomorrow in 1941.

He lived out his retirement in Los Angeles, but died while visiting his home town of Kenosha.
