Whether this is an accurate guide to the picking of locks is up for debate! However, it certainly is a curiosity!
This manuscript was self-published in 1959 by an anonymous "professional locksmith".Manuscripts and booklets like these were sold "under the counter" by magic shops of the day.Because of Houdini's lasting fame, magicians had an insatiable curiosity to learn Houdini's secrets, especially when it came to his lockpicking skills.Because unscrupulous characters would also be interested in this art, the books were sold "secretly".
This is a great example of a scarce title.What a collector's item!
