VERY NICE VINTAGE MAK MAGIC EFFECT!

From the collection of a retired stage magician and magic collector who took great care of his props.

Currently, we cannot find another one available on the Internet.
And definitely have not seen one in such great condition in many years!

DESCRIPTION FROM THE MANUFACTURER:
Close-Up or Surrounded Mechanical Masterpiece!
This apparatus consists of a cabinet just bouncing with decoration.
The cabinet is open at the top, front, and rear, and may even be examined.
A spectator inflates a balloon and it is placed in the cabinet.
The performer smashes the balloon with the block of wood, and claims a RABBIT WILL APPEAR IN THE BALLOON!!
Nothing has apparently happened.
He then reaches into the cabinet and brings out a flat rabbit.
Try it again.
This time as the balloon breaks, a live dove appears, a if it was INSIDE THE BALLOON.
This may be a visible change and, don’t forget, the cabinet was examined.
Work it on any table or even in your hands.
Scores of effects are possible.
Balloon to Silk --- Balloon to Candy or Glass of Liquid --- or anything else that is about the size of the cabinet.
Operate everything close-up and surrounded.
Entirely mechanical!

This is an original U.F. Grant effect. manufactured by MAK Magic (the company owned by U.F. Grant's daughter, Mary Ann King).
This was a very popular piece of equipment during the heyday of livestock magic, the 1970s.
The load chamber is a generous size for the safety of the animal, so you couold definitely use it instead to produce a HUGE amount of silks, paper flowers, candy, etc.
