MOVING CHALKBOARD NOVELTY CARDS
Back in the 1940s, people corresponded by mail much more frequently than they do today.
Countless clever mechanical cards were manufactured, including these two Moving Chalkboard examples.
On the card, a magic genii would wave his hand, and a message would appear.
Sometimes the message was funny, sometimes romantic.
Or sometimes it was a clever sales message!
