Mark Wilson was one of America's most beloved magicians.He is widely credited as the first television magic star.He was also a marketing genius, developing the idea of corporate sponsorship for magic programs like his own Magic Land of Alakazam. Nationally broadcast from 1961 to 1965, the program inspired many a young person to become interested in magic!
For the 1964 World's Fair, he created the Hall of Magic exhibit, one of the most popular at the fair.Starting in the late 1960s, he also oversaw production of the magic in many network shows, including The Magician, Circus of the Stars, Hollywood Palace, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Incredible Hulk, Columbo and more.
Of course, he also created the still popular Mark Wilson Course In Magic, and also performed his own impressive stage show.This souvenir book is from on of those shows.
