MARSHALL BRODIEN was an American magician who pioneered the use of TV mass-marketing of magic effects with his wildly successful promotion of Svengali decks as TV MAGIC CARDS beginning in the 1960's.
He also had a very long run as Wizzo the Wizard (a comedy magician character) on the Bozo TV show on WGN-TV Chicago.
In 1970, Brodien was the spokesperson and creator of a trick magic card deck known as TV Magic Cards, which was actually just a renamed Svengali deck.
Through his brilliant marketing ideas, especially television advertising, over 17 million decks of the cards were sold.
Brodien sold his company in 1992.
However, that didn't stop him from marketing a new line of magic decks under the "Marshall Brodien Magic" label.
This deck is from that line.
