Open the vase and remove the ball from inside the vase. Place the ball into your pocket. Make a magic gesture, take the lid off the vase- the ball is back inside the vase! Put the lid back on, make another gesture, take the lid off- the ball has vanished again! It's back in your pocket! You can repeat this routine over and over. There is no resetting necessary. No sleight of hand required!
