Here is a really unusual and rarely seen effect from the early 1970s.It is an Acrobatic Silks effect that is automatically done for you using this clever prop.
Effect:The clear plastic stand is displayed on your table. It has three holes, and you have placed a silk through each of the holes.The silks on the right and the left are the same color, while the silk in the middle is a different color. The stand can be picked up and shown back and front. You remove the center silk and make it vanish in your favorite manner.Now you grip one of the remaining silks on the stand and with a smooth pull, all the silks come free from the stand.And look! There, solidly tied between the other two silks, is the vanished silk!
