FASCINATING!
It's great magic!
Everyone knows who Harry Houdini was.And we all know that Houdini was famous for his water escapes, whether he was breaking out of a locked trunk tossed into a river, or somehow surviving submersion in a tall sealed water cabinet.
This clever little tabletop illusion is based on Houdini's legendary escapes.
The colorful image of Houdini is seen on the outside of a small cylinder. The cyclinder is placed into a clear tube, which is rested in a wood base. The tube is filled with water, and then sealed with a green cap. After safely being hidden from view by a cloth (which is exactly how Houdini performed, the tube is lifted from the base to show that there are no "trap doos".Because Houdini was know to use trap doors, too!But not this time.Within seconds, the cloth is lifted from the tube-AND HOUDINI HAS VANISHED!But wait!Just like he did on stage 100 years ago, Houdini REAPPEARS in another spot!He could reappear in your pocket, or under a box or cloth that was on your table the whole time.OR he could even reappear in the pocket of someone in your audience!
Even after all these years, Houdini's escapes are still entertaining!
You supply a cover cloth (a cotton bandana works well). You supply the water. We recommend that you set the base on a tray of some kind, to catch any accidental water spills.
