Watch Houdini escape!
This effect is a simple classic, and now it's been updated using an illustration of the great Houdini!You place the picture of Houdini inside the plastic case.Houdini is visible the whole time.You put a metal bolt through the hole in the holder and the strip, and screw the nut onto the bolt.The bolt is now going right through the Houdini card.The card can't be removed from the holder without removing the bolt first.
BUT WAIT!You are a magician, right?So, at your command, Houdini seems to melt right through the bolt, and comes freely out of the case!
No skill is required!If you can hold the case in your hand, you can do this trick!
You will have a lot of fun with this one!It's quick, it's easy, it's mystifying!
And that's all you need!
The nut and bolt are metal.The Houdini card is paper.The case is plastic.Measures about 3.5" x 2.5" .
This video was filmed in 2020, which is why we are wearing the protective face shields!Happily, shields are no longer a requirement, and we plan to film the demo over again without them.We like this demo so much, though, that we are leaving it "as is" for now. Hope you enjoy it!
