NEW mechanical feature!Clever built-in gimmick makes this version the easiest to operate!
You start by displaying a JUMBO size card with a picture of a carrot on it, and place it inside an empty envelope. While telling your hungry rabbit story, you wave the envelope a bit, "secretly" (but obvious to the audience) turning the envelope around, so that when the card comes out, it is a picture of a well-nibbled carrot. You place the nibbled carrot picture back into the envelope, and again wave it around, making it obvious that you are turning it around. The audience realizes "It’s on the other side!" So you remove the card and pretend you don't know they are asking you to show the backside of the carrot card. Finally you do show the reverse side of the card- and it is a picture of Harvey the Rabbit! A nice sucker trick that packs flat and plays big!
This is an excellent effect for the storyteller magician! If you like to tell a story with your magic trick, this is a great one for you. Peter used his story of Harvey the Hungry Rabbit, and the manufacturer provides a storyline in the instructions, but feel free to create your own!
SOME MOVIE TRIVIA: Actor Jimmy Stewart starred as Elwood P. Dowd in the classic 1950 film Harvey, which features a 6-foot-3-inch-tall invisible white rabbit named Harvey. Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Stewart's character treats the invisible rabbit as his best friend, leading to comedic misunderstandings in a delightful film. Peter Monticup was lucky enough to strike up a brief friendship with the Hollywood legend, and Jimmy Stewart generously drew the sketch of Harvey the Rabbit for Peter, the sketch you see in the demo video.
Includes everything you need (Jimmy Stewart sketch is not included).Card is approximately 7" tall.Made of heavyweight card stock.
