You establish a chosen card by spelling out the spectator's name, one card per letter of the name.
The chosen card is shown to everyone watching, then set aside.
To make the next part easier, you pick up part of the remaining pile of cards, setting the rest of the deck aside.
You call attention to the back of the cards, what is called the Bicycle design.
This popular design features an angel riding a bicycle as part of the graphics.
As you remove one card at a time- the angel starts to change position!
The angel visibly flips upside down, and grabs part of the background.
In fact, the angel seems to be pulling something from the background.
It's - A CARD!
IT'S THE CHOSEN CARD!
AND THE SPECTATOR'S NAME IS PRINTED ON THE CARD!
You turn the card over and give it to the spectator for a souvenir.
But SURPRISE! Now the back of the card is NORMAL again!
