What a way to open your show!
Just like you see in the demo, you have a black scarf draped over your arm.You take a bright red silk and make it vanish.You hold the black scarf between your hands and suddenly the red scarf VISIBLY APPEARS tied onto the black scarf!
Now here's the amazing part:The scarf and the silk are not gimmicked!In fact, there are NO extra gimmicks at all!
This concept is ingenious- and what is old is new again.When we got these from our supplier, they came with no instructions.At first, we had no clue how they worked.Then we did some research in the MagicTricks.com Magic Library, and found a 92-year-old book with the secret explained.That's why this trick comes with our ONLINE VIDEO INSTRUCTION.Peter Monticup will teach you EXACTLY how to set this up and work it.And yes- it's ingenious- but it's easy once you know the secret!In fact, once you learn the clever method used here, you will be able to apply it to other effects and routines.
By the way, Peter and Dirk joke that they will teach you their method for vanishing the silk.Of course you don't need to be taught- you can see the comedy routine for yourself!But if you do want to start this routine by actually vanishing the silk, the silk is a bit too large for a thumbtip, but you could use a Change Bag or other similar item to accomplish that.
You will need a method to vanish the red silk at the beginning.You can do it seriously- a Change Bag is a good choice for vanishing the silk, with no skill necessary.Or you can do it comically, like Peter and Dirk show in the demo video.The black scarf is a smooth rayon blend and measures about 24" long.The 12" red silks are sheer silk.
