The roll-down comedy wand has been a popular item, made from time to time but now long off the market.We haven't seen a vintage roll down wand offered for sale for years.
This particular one was made for lots of use, that's for sure.It's definitely got some weight to it, as it is printed on a heavy duty canvas type cloth.
As you see Steve do in the video, as you get ready to end your show, you hold the rolled-up wand high next to your face.:Thank you and- GOOD NIGHT!You let the wand unroll, which it does quickly because of the weight.It's a huge illustration of a man in a nightshirt, ready for bed.And the drawing has a hole where the face goes- YOUR FACE!
This wand is from the estate of a retired professional magician who used this as his closer for years.The wand shows some age, and has a few repairs on the back side.Overall, it is still in very good shape.And definitely useable!
