Like the Spirit Slates and the Spirit Hank blended into one eerie effect!
The Ghost Slate is a small chalkboard-type writing slate that you can use to "communicate" with the ghost!
First, establish what the ghost's message will be.You can have a spectator select a card, for example, and keep the card hidden so only he can see it.
Show your spectators the slate, and lay it down on top of a black handkerchief.Place a white pencil on top of the slate.Cover the slate and pencil with the corner of the handkerchief. Now have the spectator wave the card over the handkerchief. And watch the magic happen!
Suddenly, the pencil is moving underneath the handkerchief! It is as if the ghost is writing a message on the slate! When the pencil has stopped moving, you lift the handkerchief from the slate. When you turn the slate over, the name of the spectator's card is written on the slate!
ANY MESSAGE YOU WANT can appear on the slate. You control what is written- the name of a chosen card, a person's name or initials, a "Will you marry me" message- anything you want!
Very effective in a comedy routine, tooYOU are the one who really controls what is written on the slate!
Startling effect that gets a shocked and amazed reaction from your audience every time! AND IT'S SO EASY TO DO- it practically works all by itself! If you can put the handkerchief over the slate- you can do this trick!
The writing area on the slate is about 2" x 1.5".This is not a locking slate.
And that's all you need!
Here is a FREE video lesson to teach you an EASY way to force a card, called the Cross Cut Force. Use this force anytime you need to control the selection of a card- it fools them every time! For this trick, you may want to "force" a card on your spectator. In other words, you need to make it seem like he has a free choice, but really you are making him take the card that you need him to take. There are many ways to force a card, including the Cross Cut Force. We also carry several books and DVDs to teach you the different methods.
