Con artist type tricks are always popular with your spectators!
Why not challenge them with something DIFFERENT!
The basic idea of this effect is simple, and you can present it exactly the way Peter does in the demo.
You explain that there is a red cube with a yellow dot, and a white cube with a red dot.
If you covered them with the black and white cubes, it might be hard to remember where the red dot is and where the yellow dot is.
So you offer to help the spectator.
You place a second red cube with a yellow dot on top of the cover that's over the same color red cube with a yellow dot.
It's easy now to remember where the red cube with the yellow dot is- because the matching cube is on top of the cover.
You do the same with a white cube with the red dot. It is placed on top of the matching white cube with the red dot.
Now the fun begins!
You move the cube stacks around a bit, as if to "mix them up".
Well, that's silly- your spectator can easily tell where each dot is!
So you switch the cubes on top of the covers.
Now the red and yellow cube should be sitting on top of the red and white cube.
You lift up the cover and- NO!
The red and yellow cube is now under the cover!
So this is the basic concept.
You can switch the cubes back and forth as many times as you wish.
