The Flying Bat is based on an amazing novelty that has been sold for nearly 100 years.
The concept is simple: it is a bat-shaped paper airplane that uses a wound-up rubber band at its center to propel it.
Yes- that's it!
You just twist the bar at the center of the bat, which twists the rubber band.
Place it inside a book or other object to hold the rubber band in its twisted position.
As soon as the book is opened, the rubber band quickly untwists- and the bat takes flight!

It comes with instructions, but it is pretty simple to figure out.

The Flying Bat can be easily concealed inside a closed book, like we show in the video demo.
Open the book, and suddenly a large, noisy BAT zooms out of the pages and into the air!

The bat can be produced out of a book, a birthday card, a box, a hat- anything that will hold it flat until you release it.
Of course, you can also just hold it in your hand and let it go!
The trick is completely automatic- it really does work all by itself!
And it can be used over and over and over again!
