Very unexpected and very easy!Another great effect from Ian Adair!
First, show your audience the back of a large black cardboard envelope, and let them know it contains your prediction. Let your spectator shoose a card from the deck, and remove that card to the side. Next, turn over the black envelope to reveal a jumbo card showing five Spades. "Is that your card?" you ask. Your spectator says NO- the card he chose was the Ace of Spades. So you remove the prediction card from the envelope- And it magically becomes the ACE OF SPADES!
NO RESETTING NEEDED EITHER! Simply insert the card into the envelope when the effect is over, and it’s reset for the next performance!
The card supplied is LARGER than usual Jumbo cards, measuring 21cm. x 14 cm. The envelope is a sturdy cardboard envelope. And it's easy! If you can force a card, and then pull the supplied card from the envelope, you can do the trick!
BUT WAIT- THERE'S MORE! You'll get a second cut-out card in this outfit, to reveal a “double selection” of 8 of Spades and 6 of Spades. The effect is exactly as above, this time letting the spectator (or spectators) choose TWO cards. When the window envelope is turned around, the spectators see a 14 of Spades. When you ask which cards were chosen, and the spectator says the 6 of Spades and 8 of Spades, you say the 14 of Spades is actually the combination of the two selections! At the end, the card is removed from the envelope and shows an 8 of Spades (with 6 pips missing) on one side, and 6 of Spades on the reverse.
You need to know how to force a card.
