DESCRIPTION FROM THE PUBLISHER: TWO EARLY ALFRED HITCHCOCK FILMS!
First, 1930’s “Murder” where the police find the actress Diana Baring (played by Norah Baring) near the dead body of her friend. All the evidence points her as the killer and at the end of the trial she is convicted of the murder. However a member of the jury Sir John Menier (Herbert Marshall) suspects Diana’s boyfriend Handel Fane (Esme Percy) might be the real murderer.
The second film is the 1936 classic “Sabotage” where Karl Verloc (Oscar Homolka) is part of a gang of foreign saboteurs operating out of London. He manages a small cinema with his wife (Sylvia Sidney) and her teenage brother as a cover, but they are not aware of his secret activities. Scotland Yard assigns an undercover detective on the case by having him work at the shop next to the cinema so he can observe the gang.

As Sir John Menier (Herbert Marshall), Doucie Markham (Phyllis Konstam) and Ted Markham (Edward Chapman) stand outside the house where the murder occurred, Hitchcock walks past with an unknown woman at his side.SABOTAGE: Hitchcock's cameo can be seen at the 08:56 mark, just after the lights come back on in front of the movie theater, looking up towards the sky as he crosses in front of the crowd.
