One effect:Thread the brass color disk and the silver color disk onto the cord.Cover the disks with one hand, and immediately the silver one falls into your other hand, while the brass one stays on the cord!
A second effect:Thread the silver color disk onto the cord.Wrap the cord around your hand and close it.When you open your hand, the silver disk has vanished!
A third effect:Place both disks on your open palm.Close your hand, and VISIBLY remove the silver disk.When you open your hand, BOTH disks are still there!Now remove the brass disk, leaving the silver disk in your hand.When you open your hand again- the silver disk has changed into the brass disk!Now remove the silver disk, leaving the brass disk in your hand.When you open your hand, the brass disk has changed to silver!
You get a LOT of variations with this one set of disks and cord!
