AS PERFORMED BY THE TALENTED TOM FRANK AT THE MAGIC CASTLE:
From the estate of a retired professional magician who took excellent care of his props!
This ingenious and beautifully made box created quite a stir when Dean Dill introduced it back in 2002. A very clever principle! Beautifully crafted and one of Dean Dill’s signature creations, it is adapted from a Paul Curry concept. This box is a coveted magic collectible! Very hard to find in the original version- especially in this condition and at this bargain price!
DESCRIPTION FROM THE MANUFACTURER: Your audience will be blown away! Solid ropes and a solid metal ring enter Dean’s Box, then magically pass through each other in this mystifying multi-phase routine. The performer presents a large wooden cabinet. He proceeds to take two ordinary ropes- and they are truly ordinary- and place them into each end of the cabinet and out through the top. For a moment he covers them with his hand. When he releases them they are linked together! He does this once more under even more impossible conditions and they link together again. As a grand finale a solid brass ring is introduced- and yes, it is solid. One of the two ropes is freely chosen and threaded through the holes in the box. The ring is tossed inside the box. When the front of the box is opened the ring is now on the rope! Solid through solid, not once, not twice, but three times under ever increasingly impossible conditions!
This is a truly beautifully made box. The routine is astounding, and has lots of room for your stories and jokes as you go along. It is easy to do, though it takes some handling practice.
