The previous owner had a number of these cases custom made for him.A stage magician, he also had a particular passion for card effects.Though he mostly performed card effects proivately for his friends, and for his own amusement, he treasured his better decks of cards and wanted to keep them in prime condition.
These cases are heavy! Made of solid wood, with brass piano hinges for strength.The wood is unfinished, so you can certainly paint it or stain it as you desire.
And here's an idea!All you have to do is attach a small closeup pad to the top of the box, and you have a great portable performance table!
Each case holds 12 decks of cards.
CONDITION: very good- used.This was hand crafted, not machine made.A few rough spots.Made of solid wood.About 9.5" x 10.5" in size when closed.
