A Cummerbund Servante is a very useful device that gives you a place to hide a small object. Though it can definitely be used hidden behind your table, it is commonly used by strolling magicians who have to rely on hiding small items without using a table.
This device incorporates a servante into the design of a cummerbund.By definition, servantes may be drawers or shelves built into the magician's table, out of sight of onlookers. These are often padded or lined with felt to allow the magician to drop objects onto it quietly. Another type of servante is a simple bag or pouch attached to the magician's belt or vest. A cummerbund is a broad waist sash, usually pleated, which is often worn with Tuxedos or single-breasted dinner jackets. So the Cummerbund Servante is a servante built into a cummerbund! And this even comes with printed instructions so you'll know exactly how to use it!
DESCRIPTION FROM THE MANUFACTURER:Get rid of a coin, card or any other small object. If you work wearing a tux, you need the cummerbund servante. It is an accessory that you must have. Standard size fits many. Made of black satin material. This sash ties (rather than buckles) in the back, so it will fit any waist line up to 44 inches.
Whether you use this secretly (to steal and ditch coins or other small props), or openly (as extra storage pockets for props while working close-up), this is a very handy item to add to your magic wardrobe. As the name implies, it is a cummerbund -- you know, one of those waistband sashes that you wear with your tuxedo - but this cummerbund is open at the top, forming a large pocket. You can easily get relatively flat props in and out of it. If you wear a tux, then it is perfectly natural looking, and can be used as a secret ditching device -- great for coin workers. If you don't normally wear a tux, then you can use it simply as an open carrying device for coins, color changing knives, card decks, etc.
The Cummerbund Servante is not a divided pocket -- just one big pocket. You can apply some stick-on velcro strips at a few strategic places to create custom separate pockets.
Cummerbund Servante only. The items shown inside the servante are not included.
Made of black satin material. One big pocket, which you can customize using your own Velcro strips if desired.Comes in one size only, which fits up to a 44-inch waist.
