E. E. Fairchild was formed as a package printing company in 1900. After World War I, the company began to produce games, especially board games and card games.The company's heyday was the 1930-1950 period. When company president Elmer Fairchild left in 1950 to become president of the Rochester Red Wings baseball club, the company began its slow demise.A devastating fire in 1974 spelled the end for the company, who sold the remaining inventory and business to a competitor.
This is a regular Stripper Deck, printed with the trademarked E.E. Fairchild back design.The cards are BRIDGE size, and come in the original card box, with the original instructions.You also get two Jokers.The instructions explain how the deck works, and gives directions for performing eight different tricks with the deck.
CONDITION: good to very good. The box shows some wear, tears, age discoloration, and the top flap is separated from the box (look at the photo). The cards are in very good condition.The instruction sheet is rather brittle, and shows normal age discoloration.
