Start with two decks- one will be used by the spectator, and the other holds your prediction card. The spectator's deck is divided into piles under his random direction. The spectator chooses where to stop for each pile. The result is three piles, and a remaining stack of cards. The top card of each pile is turned face up, and the values are added together. In the case of the demo video, the values added up to 17. The cards in the remaining stack are now counted- and the number matches the added values! There were 17 cards in the remaining stack! BUT WAIT- THERE'S MORE! The spectator had stopped at his discretion to make the final stack. Pull out the card he cut to. Now open the second deck, the prediction deck. Let the spectator turn over the card he cut to. Now spread the cards in the prediction deck. One card is face down. Let the spectator remove the prediction card- it matches the card he cut to!
